Based in Ludlow, Shropshire, we work with organisations across the UK, working as part of their team.
Our ethos is to provide a quality, personal service to our clients and we never take on a new client unless we have capacity to meet everyone's needs.
Sara has eighteen years’ experience in communications, business development and community engagement, gained in: UK Government, local government (England), charity, conservation, forestry, climate change and energy efficiency sectors. Skills include communications and marketing; writing funding applications and tenders; community consultation and engagement.
Sara started Practical Communications after helping friends and family out with their communications and business development, whilst working at Forestry England as a Community Ranger. She ended up so busy that she either needed a nine day week or had to choose. And here we are!
She loves helping SME businesses to grow and develop.

Some will know him as Harv, others will know him Paul, but it's always Holmes and his technical skills are top notch whatever alias he goes under.
Harv has over 20 years experience in IT, big data and Internet of Things gained at Cap HPI/ Solera and HVA Systems. He likes to keep busy and has also been supporting small businesses with their IT, networking, web hosting and data needs in the local Ludlow area for many years.
He loves anything to do with computers and wiring.
